MThe entire OURLFC men’s squad (Maroons and Blues) trains together four times a week, with a training session out at Marston on monday nights during the season. We also have regular group fitness sessions on Monday and Friday mornings using the Iffley Road sports facilities.
The club runs two playing training sessions every week – on Monday and Friday evenings. Mondays are taken by the vastly experienced Tom James, with Fridays assisted by new coach and former Blue Zac Keane. We also provide a gym programme of two sessions a week for our players, run by Strength and Conditioning coach Matt Queralt. Friday training takes place at Oxford Harlequins RFC in Cowley.

We are very lucky to have the coaching staff that we currently possess, with our head coach Tom James bringing a wealth of coaching experience to the table. As an extremely friendly club we welcome any newcomers with open arms and hope you will consider getting in contact with us. During the Summer the club runs Touch Rugby sessions – focusing on developing ball-handling skills for our players.
